Capex Engineering Manager

We have a current opportunity for a CAPEX Engineering Manager on a contract basis. The position will be based in Pfaffenhofen, Bavaria, Germany.

Job details

Technical Oversight: Coordinating field engineering for all changes and direct contact for the operations team for changes and support.

Interface to ENG Department: Assessment of the accessibility of components for maintenance purposes in close cooperation with the Engineering Department.

Project Completion Detail Design: Ensuring that the detailed design is fully and correctly implemented to ensure a smooth transition to subsequent phases.

Time and budget compliance: Monitor adherence to project timelines and budgets and identify risks to develop proactive solutions.

Quality and safety standards: Ensuring that all regulatory and safety-related requirements are met by the end of operational qualification.

Requirements

Completed technical studies in the field of engineering, project management or similar qualification is an advantage

At least 8 years of experience in engineering, project management and handling CAPEX projects in a regulated environment, preferably with experience in biotechnology or aseptic production

Experience in professional cooperation with interdisciplinary teams and external partners in the implementation of complex large-volume technical projects

Confident handling of HOAI, contract drafting and claim management

In-depth GMP knowledge, including regulatory requirements and quality standards

Structured way of working, team management, communication skills and professional leadership skills

Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, resilience and assertiveness

Very good knowledge of German and English

Working hours 5 days/week

Remote option 10% (if necessary every two weeks on Fridays remotely)
