As the Medical Lead for Lung Cancer, you will develop and execute medical strategies and scientific initiatives to support specific lung cancer indications. This critical role will collaborate cross-functionally with US and global medical affairs, HEOR, clinical development, and commercial teams to align medical plans and drive evidence-based scientific narratives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and align medical strategies, insights, and activities across functional areas like medical information, medical education, publications, advisory boards, etc.
- Gather insights through coordination with HQ, field teams, and external experts to shape optimal medical plans
- Develop and manage lung cancer advisory boards and associated medical engagement
- Create and communicate scientific narratives and data that support lung cancer indications
- Train and update field MSLs on medical priorities and emerging data
- Plan and deliver pre-launch activities in collaboration with stakeholders
- Lead external engagement with key opinion leaders and scientific experts
- Optimize utilization of medical resources to achieve defined goals
Requirements:
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) preferred
- Experience in pharmaceutical medical affairs, preferably with lung cancer experience
- Understanding of medical strategy development and clinical programs
- Ability to work cross-functionally to deliver medical plans and insight-driven initiatives
- Experience engaging external experts and managing advisory boards
- Strong analytical mindset and project management capabilities
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and scientific acumen
- Comfortable traveling up to 30% of the time
