Role Overview:

The company is seeking a Sales Representative to promote their products, primarily within operating rooms. The role focuses on engaging with surgeons, understanding market needs, and increasing the visibility of the company and its optics solutions. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team of 12 operating across Germany, and will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.


Your Role as Sales Representative:

  • Achieve budget targets by effectively promoting products to surgeons.
  • Identify and engage target customers, negotiating agreements and building a network of potential buyers.
  • Initiate clinical trials in collaboration with the Clinical Trial Manager (CTM).
  • Plan and implement advanced training events for physicians.
  • Monitor market trends, sharing insights with management and creating a need for the company's products.
  • Work closely with departments like Marketing, Business Development and Customer Services.
  • Organise local events and represent the company at congresses.
  • Manage consignment stock and budget resources effectively, documenting activities in the CRM tool.
  • Suggest and implement measures to improve results and possibly train new colleagues.



Experience and Qualifications for the Sales Representative Role:

  • Fluent in German, with basic English language skills.
  • Located in or near Nuremberg.
  • Strong sales experience, preferably in outside sales or with a strong optical background.
  • Highly motivated to exceed targets and develop both new and established business.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and self-accountable, with an ambition for selling surgical products.



Desirable:

  • Optical background with sales experience, ideally within optics or medical devices.
  • A demonstratable blend of commercial and scientific background.
  • Established network and experience in the Nuremberg area.
