Senior Manager, Biostatistics & Data Management - RWE (Neuchâtel, Switzerland)

Summary:
This role leads the statistical and data management functions for Real World Evidence (RWE) studies focused on assessing the health impact of alternative and smoke-free products. The position involves overseeing a team of statisticians and data managers, directing CROs, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidance (e.g., ICH, FDA, EMA), and applying advanced statistical methodologies to support high-quality evidence generation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team (2-6 members) and oversee planning and delivery of statistical and data contributions for RWE studies.

• Act as subject matter expert on RWE statistical methodologies and regulatory requirements.

• Guide study design, data analysis, and ensure scientific rigor and compliance.

• Oversee statistical deliverables and quality assurance of study outputs.

• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members.

• Stay current with biostatistical, epidemiological, and regulatory developments.

Requirements:

• MSc or PhD in biostatistics, pharmacoepidemiology, or related field.

• Strong industry experience (pharma, medtech, consumer health, or clinical research).

• Proficient in R or SAS; familiarity with CDISC, OMOP, and machine learning is a plus.

• Skilled in leadership, communication, and project management.

• Fluent in English.
