Building a Reliable U.S.Resource Model for an EU-based CRO
Biotrial, an established CRO headquartered in France, needed to solve a critical resourcing challenge in the US. They were struggling to retain full-time CRAs at their New Jersey site.
These studies require an intense burst of monitoring activity over about three months, followed by periods of downtime. This stop-and-start workload was driving turnover: once studies wrapped up, CRAs often left due to the lack of ongoing work.
Biotrial’s HR team typically manages hiring internally and rarely uses agencies, but their US network was limited. They needed a partner who could quickly build a reliable freelance CRA model to keep studies on track.
