Overview:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing sustainability consultancy focused on helping the built environment transition to a net zero economy. This role offers a dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment with opportunities to contribute significantly to business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales and business development targets.

  • Build and manage a portfolio of new clients within the real estate sector.

  • Actively prospect for new business using various channels (e.g., phone, email, LinkedIn).

  • Develop proposals and respond to RFPs.

  • Facilitate client meetings and manage end-to-end business development lifecycle.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (legal, delivery, BD) to close deals and onboard clients.

  • Attend industry events and represent the company as a brand ambassador.

  • Track pipeline activity and contribute to internal business development strategy.


Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales.

  • Proven success in meeting sales targets and developing new client relationships.

  • Strong knowledge of the UK real estate market and established professional network.

  • Understanding of sustainability, climate change, and energy efficiency in the built environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
