An exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing sustainability consultancy focused on helping the built environment transition to a net zero economy. Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales and business development targets.
Build and manage a portfolio of new clients within the real estate sector.
Actively prospect for new business using various channels (e.g., phone, email, LinkedIn).
Develop proposals and respond to RFPs.
Facilitate client meetings and manage end-to-end business development lifecycle.
Coordinate with internal teams (legal, delivery, BD) to close deals and onboard clients.
Attend industry events and represent the company as a brand ambassador.
Track pipeline activity and contribute to internal business development strategy.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales.
Proven success in meeting sales targets and developing new client relationships.
Strong knowledge of the UK real estate market and established professional network.
Understanding of sustainability, climate change, and energy efficiency in the built environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
