Business Process Manager GBS (Finance) - Contract (18 months)


An opportunity is available for an experienced Business Process Manager (Finance) to support the design, development and implementation of key finance systems and process improvements within a global business environment. This contract role will focus on driving digital transformation across finance and accounting operations, with a blend of process ownership, SAP project leadership and analytical tool development.

With a hybrid model (60% remote) and no travel required, this role is suited to a process-driven professional with deep finance expertise and strong systems knowledge-particularly SAP FI/CO and reporting tools like Power BI or Qlik Sense.

Your role as Business Process Manager GBS (Finance):

  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of finance process improvements, tools, and applications.
  • Own sub-projects independently, ensuring alignment across business and IT stakeholders.
  • Analyse existing finance processes, identify gaps, and deliver optimised, future-fit solutions.
  • Act as the main functional contact for SAP FI, coordinating closely with IT and managing related interfaces.
  • Build and maintain visual dashboards and analytical tools using Qlik Sense or Power BI.
  • Support digitalisation efforts by driving automation projects (including RPA), and develop supporting documentation and training as needed.

Experience and qualifications for the Business Process Manager GBS (Finance) role:

  • Background in business, finance or IT with relevant experience in process design and systems implementation.
  • Proven experience managing SAP finance modules (FI/CO) with strong cross-functional integration know-how (e.g. PP, MM, SD, WM).
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience optimising or digitising finance operations using automation tools.
  • Skilled in translating technical topics into accessible concepts for business stakeholders.
  • Confident using process modelling tools (e.g. Visio, ARIS) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Fluent English communication required; German language skills desirable but not essential.

This is an 18-month contract with an immediate start available, and interview processes already in motion. Remote working up to 60% is supported.
