A leading global medical technology company is seeking an experienced GPO & Tender Manager (Cardiology & TAVI: Specialist) to take ownership of their tendering activity with Group Purchasing Organizations across international markets. Your Role as GPO & Tender Manager

  • Lead the end-to-end management of tender submissions and proposals with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), ensuring quality, compliance, and timeliness.

  • Develop and implement a robust tendering strategy to increase contract wins and improve the visibility of cardiology products in competitive procurement processes.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders-including sales, legal, finance, and regulatory teams-to align on bid strategies, pricing, and documentation.

  • Support and lead contract negotiations to secure favourable terms aligned with wider business goals and local market dynamics.

  • Track, analyse, and report on tender performance, providing insights that inform pricing strategy and bid decisions.

  • Conduct regular market intelligence and competitor analysis to maintain a strategic edge in tender submissions.

  • Maintain accurate tender documentation and ensure all contractual requirements and deadlines are met.

Experience and Qualifications for the GPO & Tender Manager Role

  • Proven track record in tender management or healthcare contracting, ideally within the medical device or hospital procurement space (5-7 years minimum).

  • Strong knowledge of GPO structures and purchasing pathways, particularly within cardiology or high-spec hospital interventions.

  • Experience working in cross-functional environments with commercial, legal, and clinical teams to drive results.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret tender requirements, evaluate commercial risks, and optimise bid responses.

  • Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing contracts in line with business objectives and compliance frameworks.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

  • Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.

  • Willingness to travel for key negotiations and stakeholder engagements.
