Their work spans new product planning, launch strategy, portfolio optimisation, disease area strategy, and organisational excellence.

They primarily support specialty therapeutics such as oncology, immunology, and rare diseases, helping clients navigate complex market access dynamics across a variety of care settings. As a Manager, you'll be joining a collaborative team of experienced consultants who are passionate about solving critical business challenges for biotech and pharmaceutical companies - and you'll play a key role in shaping both client outcomes and the growth of the business itself. This role can be based in NY or MA.

Your role as Manager - Market Access

  • Lead cross-functional project teams delivering strategic commercial and market access projects

  • Oversee planning and execution of initiatives covering product commercialisation, launch strategy, portfolio planning, and organisational effectiveness

  • Scope project objectives, build and manage project plans, and drive accountability for deliverables across teams

  • Design, conduct, and synthesise primary and secondary research to generate actionable insights

  • Develop strategic recommendations to support market access and pricing decisions

  • Build and maintain relationships with senior-level stakeholders on the client side

  • Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members to strengthen internal capabilities

  • Identify opportunities for business growth and support new business development efforts

Experience and qualifications for the Manager - Market Access role

  • Significant experience in biopharma consulting or within the life sciences industry, ideally in market access or commercial strategy

  • Proven expertise in developing U.S. market access strategies, including coverage, coding, payment, and pricing

  • Strong understanding of the U.S. payer landscape across Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Federal segments

  • Knowledge of reimbursement models across sites of care (e.g. physician offices, hospital outpatient, inpatient, and long-term care settings)

  • Experience engaging with organised customers and pathway decision makers

  • Familiarity with evidence requirements to support access and pricing strategies

  • Insight into evolving healthcare policy and its impact on market access

  • Experience leading multiple complex workstreams across matrixed teams

  • Advanced degree (e.g. PhD, MD, MBA, MPH, JD, or MS) preferred

  • Typically 4+ years of consulting or relevant biopharma industry experience
