Manager, Insights and Analytics

An established and fast-growing management consultancy specialising in the biopharmaceutical industry is seeking a Manager, Insights and Analytics to join their global team.

With offices across the US, Europe, and Asia, this consultancy partners with leading biopharma companies to drive commercial success throughout the lifecycle of their products and portfolios. Their work spans new product planning, launch strategy, portfolio and disease area strategy, and organisational transformation, with particular expertise in specialty therapeutics such as oncology and rare diseases.

Your role as Manager, Insights and Analytics

As a Manager, you will be the go-to expert on analytics, working across project teams to solve complex strategic challenges. You'll design and deliver analytical solutions that directly inform high-stakes business decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design and execution of forecasting models across early-stage and post-launch biopharma assets

  • Designing and overseeing quantitative and qualitative primary market research studies

  • Managing vendors delivering market research tools or quantitative fieldwork

  • Conducting raw data analysis and synthesising findings into strategic insights

  • Building models and developing compelling narratives to support client decision-making

  • Analysing third-party datasets (e.g. provider unit data, payer access data, analog sales data) to extract commercial insights

  • Developing financial models such as Gross-to-Net and Budget Impact Models to inform pricing and reimbursement strategies

  • Evaluating policy and reimbursement changes to project potential commercial impacts

  • Creating simulation models to assess payer/provider contract strategies

Experience and qualifications for the Manager, Insights and Analytics role

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen. The ideal profile includes:

  • Proven experience in quantitative analytics or modelling within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector

  • Hands-on experience running quantitative primary market research studies

  • Strong understanding of US coverage, pricing, and reimbursement dynamics, including government pricing mechanisms

  • Familiarity with financial dynamics across US sites of care

  • High-level analytical and quantitative modelling skills

  • Experience interpreting and deriving insights from complex datasets to shape strategy

  • Ability to communicate technical insights clearly to senior stakeholders

  • An advanced degree (e.g. PhD, MD, MBA, or MS) is preferred

  • 4+ years of relevant analytical experience
