A specialist life sciences consultancy is hiring a Market Access Consultant or Senior Consultant to join its U.S. team, with flexibility to be based in New York or Massachusetts. Your role as Market Access Consultant / Senior Consultant
Deliver strategic project work focused on pricing, reimbursement, payer dynamics, and patient access within the U.S. healthcare landscape
Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research to inform client recommendations
Translate complex data into practical, actionable insights that shape market access and commercial strategy
Create client-ready materials including presentations, models, and summary reports that clearly communicate key findings
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to high-quality, on-time project delivery
Present insights and recommendations directly to senior-level client stakeholders
At Senior Consultant level: support internal development efforts, mentor junior team members, and contribute to business development
Experience and qualifications for the Market Access Consultant / Senior Consultant role
Understanding of U.S. market access frameworks, including pricing strategy, payer segmentation, provider networks, and patient services
Experience in life sciences consulting or in-house roles related to market access or commercial strategy
Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills, with a clear, concise style for both written and verbal outputs
Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel to support structured deliverables
Strong organisational and time management skills; comfortable working across multiple priorities
For Consultant: bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
For Senior Consultant: advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MD, or MS) with 1+ years in consulting or equivalent industry experience
