Your role as Market Access Manager
Lead multi-disciplinary project teams on commercial and strategic engagements across market access, launch planning, and product strategy.
Develop and oversee project workplans, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality insights and recommendations.
Guide the design, execution, and interpretation of primary and secondary research, including qualitative interviews and quantitative analysis.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, engaging regularly with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
Provide subject matter expertise on US payer systems, access dynamics, pricing strategies, and reimbursement frameworks.
Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering growth and knowledge-sharing within the business.
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to proposal development and account growth.
Experience and qualifications for the Market Access Manager role
4+ years of experience in life sciences consulting or a relevant role in the biopharma industry.
Proven track record in US market access strategy, including expertise in coverage, coding, payment, and pricing.
Strong understanding of commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and federal payer segments, across both medical and pharmacy benefits.
Familiarity with reimbursement methodologies across core sites of care (e.g. hospitals, physician offices, long-term care).
Hands-on experience designing and executing primary research to support access and pricing strategy.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas for executive-level audiences.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate with matrixed teams.
An advanced degree (e.g. MBA, MPH, PhD, MD, or similar) is preferred.
