Your role as Senior HR Manager
This role is pivotal in shaping and leading the HR function, embedding best practices, and fostering a high-performance culture. The successful candidate will be both a strategic partner and an operational leader, directly influencing talent development and organisational growth.
Define and execute HR strategies in line with broader business objectives and leadership vision
Lead succession planning and talent development to build strong leadership pipelines
Streamline recruitment processes for senior and specialist roles, ensuring a seamless candidate experience
Oversee implementation and optimisation of HR systems and digital tools to support scalable HR operations
Ensure legal compliance and maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation
Inspire, lead, and mentor a high-performing HR team, promoting continuous professional growth
Partner with international counterparts to maintain consistency with global HR practices
Champion change management efforts to support business expansion and transformation
Provide expert HR guidance to the executive leadership team on strategic people matters
Experience and qualifications for the Senior HR Manager role
Ideal candidates will bring a balance of strategic insight and hands-on HR leadership, along with industry-relevant experience and a proactive mindset.
7-10 years' experience in both strategic and operational HR roles, ideally in mid-to-large organisations
Sector knowledge in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences is beneficial but not essential
Solid understanding of employment law, workforce planning, and organisational development
Familiarity with contemporary HR software, platforms, and digital HR transformation initiatives
Demonstrated experience leading HR teams and influencing senior leadership
Degree-qualified in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline
Professional fluency in both German and English is essential for internal and external communication
