Senior Managing Consultant, Epidemiology

A global consultancy with deep roots in science, health, and policy is hiring a Senior Managing Consultant, Epidemiology to join its established Health Sciences team.

Working across sectors like pharma, chemicals, manufacturing, energy, and government, this team delivers human health risk assessments and regulatory science expertise that helps shape safer products, better policies, and healthier communities.

This is an opportunity to take on a senior technical and client-facing role-offering the autonomy to lead meaningful projects while mentoring a high-caliber team. The role can be based remotely across the U.S. or Canada, with flexibility around hybrid engagement and travel.

Your role as Senior Managing Consultant, Epidemiology

  • Lead and manage complex epidemiology-focused consulting projects from scoping to delivery
  • Act as a subject matter expert on human health risk assessments and regulatory frameworks
  • Translate scientific findings into actionable insights for clients and regulators
  • Develop and maintain client relationships across industry and government
  • Publish, present, or contribute to thought leadership in relevant forums
  • Mentor and support the development of junior consultants
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global colleagues on multi-disciplinary projects

Experience and qualifications for the Senior Managing Consultant, Epidemiology role

  • Degree in Epidemiology or closely related discipline
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including project delivery, regulatory interactions, and client engagement
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex deliverables
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory risk assessments (e.g., USEPA)
  • Skilled communicator with a solutions-focused mindset
  • Bonus: Experience in consulting, causal inference methods, or business development
