Sr. Manager Biostatistics & Data Management RWE - Neuchatel, Switzerland

Role Overview:
As Sr. Manager Biostatistics & Data Management RWE, you will lead the statistical and data management aspects of Real-World Evidence (RWE) and clinical research studies. Your focus will be on understanding the health impact of alternative products to cigarettes. You will collaborate across functions to formulate questions and deliver statistical solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 2-6 RWE statisticians and data managers, overseeing planning and delivery for RWE studies.

  • Act as the statistical methodology leader for the assigned RWE portfolio.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH, EMA, FDA) and internal quality standards for statistical principles and data management.

  • Provide statistical leadership in biostatistics and epidemiology, guiding the selection of appropriate methodologies.

  • Oversee statistical and data management aspects of studies, reviewing and approving deliverables, and communicating with authorities.

  • Mentor the team on statistical issues and ensure the timely and quality completion of activities.

Qualifications:

  • MSc/PhD in pharmacoepidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field.

  • 5-10 years experience in biostatistics RWE.
  • Significant experience in a pharmaceutical, medical device, or clinical research environment.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.

  • Proficiency in R, SAS, and statistical programming; knowledge of CDISC and OMOP is a plus.

  • Interest in big data analysis using machine learning algorithms is advantageous.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
