Your role as Junior HR Specialist

As a Junior HR Specialist, you'll provide hands-on support across a wide range of HR tasks, working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth HR operations. From recruitment to employee engagement, you'll play a vital part in enhancing the employee experience.

  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, interview coordination, and onboarding

  • Maintain and update employee records, contracts, reference letters, and other key HR documentation

  • Be the go-to contact for employee questions related to contracts, benefits, policies, and general HR support

  • Assist in planning and delivering internal training and development programmes

  • Contribute to HR project work, particularly around digitalisation and process improvements

  • Track and manage employee time, attendance, and leave records

  • Collaborate with internal HR functions such as payroll, talent development, and employer branding

Experience and qualifications for the Junior HR Specialist role

  • 1-3 years of experience in HR, ideally within the medical device, pharma, or tech industry

  • Solid understanding of HR operations, particularly recruitment and HR admin

  • Some knowledge of labour law or compliance matters would be beneficial

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset

  • Confident using HR software tools and Microsoft Office

  • Degree or vocational training in Human Resources or a related field

  • Proficiency in both German and English
