Senior Specialist, Territory Support - Manchester OR Leeds

Reports to: Manager, Professional Education (EU)
Location: UK (80% travel)


Role Overview

This position partners closely with Territory Sales Managers across assigned regions to provide clinical, technical, and procedural support for structural heart interventions. You will support product implants, assist with pre-case imaging, and provide hands-on instruction to physicians and clinical teams.

The role also contributes to customer education, field training, account management, and tactical planning alongside sales and therapy specialists. This is a high-travel position requiring strong clinical knowledge, technical aptitude, and the ability to build strong relationships with hospital teams.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Technical Support

  • Support structural heart implant procedures including pre-case imaging review, valve preparation, loading, sizing, and placement.

  • Deliver on-site technical and clinical training to physicians and hospital staff to ensure optimal device use.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aortic valve disease and current treatment approaches.

  • Use 3D reconstruction software (e.g., 3mensio, OsiriX) to screen and prepare cases.

Territory & Account Support

  • Work in close partnership with the Territory Sales Manager to coordinate clinical support and commercial activities.

  • Assist in expanding implant volume and uncovering additional usage opportunities within accounts.

  • Support product ordering, replacements, and general account management activities.

  • Provide ongoing education and technical troubleshooting to ensure smooth case execution and positive patient outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with therapy specialists, sales leadership, and marketing teams to support regional initiatives.

  • Provide field insights and product feedback to internal teams to support product improvements and future development.

  • Engage with clinicians to understand clinical needs and identify opportunities for product enhancement.

Professional Development & Relationship Building

  • Develop strong, professional relationships with physicians and hospital personnel.

  • Represent the organisation as a technical expert during trainings, presentations, and clinical interactions.


Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in medical device field support, structural heart, or acute-care clinical environments.

  • Strong knowledge of vascular procedures and interventional cardiology workflows.

  • Experience working in cross-functional commercial teams preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred.

  • Experience presenting at conferences or contributing to scientific publications is an advantage.

  • High proficiency in MS Office and comfort with clinical imaging software.

  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
