Manager Analytical Development & Quality Control - 12 Month Contract

Our client, with strong global ties in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical research, is looking for a Manager of Analytical Development & Quality Control (ADQC) for a 12-month, full-time contract.

This pivotal role offers the chance to impact groundbreaking projects and shape the future of healthcare.

Your Role as Manager Analytical Development & Quality Control:

  • Lead up to four small-scale or 1-2 large-scale projects, managing all phases to commercialisation.
  • Adhere to and enforce Guidelines and SOPs across all project activities.
  • Develop, optimise, and implement diverse analytical methods, including purity and stability testing.
  • Act as AD/QC representative in technical and CMC team meetings.
  • Conduct release, retest, stability, transfer, and validation analyses; ensure meticulous documentation.
  • Independently design, execute, and review scientific work in project-related activities.

Experience and Qualifications for the Manager ADQC Role:

  • Strong background in analytical chemistry with a comprehensive understanding of GMP/regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in analytical chemistry, with foundational knowledge in synthetic chemistry and pharmaceutical development.
  • Experience in analytical test development for various drug substances and products.
  • Effective management skills within a matrix organisation.
  • Excellent adaptability, communication, and time management skills; fluent in English.
  • Proactive approach to enhancing quality and productivity, with strong timeline management skills.
